CBD Infused Potato Hash

Ingredients:

2 breakfast sausages, cut into half-inch slices

1 Onion, diced 

2 medium potatoes, cubed. (Yukon Golds work well, but add your favorite!)

1 Jalapeno, diced

½ Tbsp cannabutter- recipe here

½ Tbsp Olive Oil

1 egg per hungry CBD lover

Hot sauce and Pico de gallo for garnish

Garlic powder, salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method:

1. Pre-heat the cannabutter and olive oil to your pan over medium-high heat.

2. Throw in your onion, jalapeno, potatoes, and sausages. Season well with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir continuously until the sausage is cooked and your ingredients are a nice golden brown. Remember- color means flavor! Check your potatoes have softened by cutting one in two with a spoon.

3. Remove hash mix from the pan, and divide it into bowls.

4. Fry required amount of eggs in the pan, using salt and pepper to taste. Once ready, top each bowl with your fried eggs.

5. Garnish with a heaped tablespoon of Pico de Gallo and a dash (or 10) of hot sauce.

 

Mix and Match

As with any good recipe for CBD edibles, these ingredients are interchangeable. We all love our own creations, and this is one of ours. If you’re vegan, swap out the cannabutter for CBD infused coconut oil and ditch the sausage. If you prefer a bit more of a kick in the pants, up the Schoville level with a few extra Jalapenos.
